ONE Dynasty of Heroes Results: Lee and Askren retains, Rajinder suffers defeat
ONE Championship’s Dynasty of Heroes proved to be a memorable show. Headlined by the Atom weight title fight between Angela Lee and Istela Nunes, the fight night had some intriguing match ups on showcase.
In the main event, Angela came out on top to retain the title and keep her undefeated record intact when she submitted Istela in the second round. With the win, Angela improved her record to 8-0 while it was the first career defeat for Nunes.
Elsewhere, Ben Askren secured the 16th win of his professional MMA career by defeating Agilan Thani of Malaysia. With the win, Askren retained the ONE Welterweight title and remained unbeaten. The submission match between Garry Tonon and Shinya Aoki ended in favor of Tonon. He won the match via a heel hook at the seven minute mark.
