TFG Fantasy Pundit: Fantasy cricket tips for ENG v SA 2nd ODI at Southampton

Overview

Ben Stokes has been passed fit to play the second ODI. That said, don't be surprised if he gets rested keeping the Champs trophy in mind. Also, we expect South Africa to make a few changes to their squad as ABD mentioned before the series. 

Probable 11

ENG- Hales, Roy/Billings, Root, Morgan, Stokes, Buttler, Ali, Woakes, Rashid, Ball/Wood, Plunkett

SA- De Kock, Amla, Faf, ABD, Duminy, Miller/Behardien, Morris, Rabada, Tahir, Parnell/Morkel, Phehlukwayo 

Players who cannot be ignored 

De Kock- He looked scratchy in the first game, but we expect him to get back to his best at Southampton. He will open and can do a lot of damage with the willow. 

Morris- He is a genuine value for money buy. Likely to bowl the full quota of 10 overs and can also contribute with the bat down the order. 

Amla- On a flat pitch, it would be a folly to play without South Africa's run-machine. We all saw how easy he made batting look in the opening ODI. 

Root- He is England's best batsman and given his recent run across all formats, it would be silly to drop him.
