China beat India 3-0 to enter SF of Sudirman Cup
IT WAS A TOUGH tie for India as they were up against 10 time champions China in the quarter-finals of Sudirman Cup. A tough fight from India but not good enough against the mighty Chinese as they clinched the tie 3-0 with two matches remaining.
The mixed doubles duo of Satwik/Ashwini Ponnappa once again stepped up their game and displayed a great match. They were up against World No 2 Lu Kai/Huang Yaqiong and nobody expected the Indian duo to fight like they did. The young pair stunned their opponents by winning the opening game 21-16, this put the Chinese duo under immense pressure.

This was the only match that saw some fight from India as the following two matches were thorough domination from China.
