Governor of Nagaland lauds Aizawl FC effort on post-match clean up and winning the I-League

NOT JUST BY THEIR ON-FIELD PERFORMANCES but Aizawl FC have won many hearts with their off the feild performances as well. Aizawl created history by beating teams multiple times their budget and strong displays of football and even as a community. 

Aizawl FC played the last game of the season at Shillong against Shillong Lajong FC. Aizawl FC needed a draw at least from the game in order to win the I-League title. They did not disappoint for the many fans that had become followers of the team from Mizoram because of their modest approach towards the game.

The people of Aizawl sent out a beautiful message to the entire world when they stayed over after the celebration to clean up the litter that was caused due the celebrations. The governor of Nagaland state appreciated the gesture and congratulated Aizawl FC and its fans for the lovely message through a letter sent to club president Robert Royte.
