Marcos Vinicius 'Tank' has parted ways with his club Chennai City FC

CHENNAI CITY MADE A GOOD START in the Federation Cup when they were two goals up against I-League champions Aizawl FC in their opening game. But they could not hold on the lead and ended on on the losing side at full time.
In the latest news about the only top division club from Tamil Nadu, their Brazilan striker Marcos Vinicius as known as "Tank" has parted ways with the club.

Chennai City FC forward Marcos Vinicius parts ways with his club

The 24-year old forward has made 11 appearances for the Chenani City FC in the I-League and netted in two goals. Marcos was not featured in the Federation Cup. Earlier in the I-League, another foreign striker Haroon Amiri left in controversial circumstances in the month of March. Now they are playing with just two foriegners namely the Brazilian Charles and Nigerian Celestine Echezona. 

Chennai City play the next Federation Cup game today against East Bengal at 4 pm.
