Rabada, Morris, Matthews depart mid-way through IPL to prepare for Champions Trophy

DELHI DAREDEVILS trio Kigiso Rabada, Chris Morris and Angelo Matthews have left IPL 10 in order to join their respective national teams ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017.

The Delhi franchise are currently languishing at the penultimate spot in the rankings table. Having won just four out of 11 games, the Zaheer Khan-led side is almost out of contention for the play-offs.

DD are set to clash with Gujarat Lions at Green Park on May 10 and they will be playing without the services of Rabada, Morris and Matthews.

Rabada, who was benched during the initial phase of the league, had picked six wickets in six games at an economy rate of 8.81. On the other hand, Morris had contributed with both bat and ball. The Protea all-rounder had scored 154 runs and picked 12 wickets in nine games.
