India national football team now ranked 100 in the latest FIFA ranking

INDIA HAD REACHED THE RANK 101 last month in what has been the India's best rank in about a decade. India national team last played their 2019 Asian Cup qualifiers match against Myanmar and won. 

This jump has been of a single rank. India are now tied with four other countries for the 100th rank. The countries are Nicaragua Lithuania and Estonia who too are with 331 points in the FIFA rankings. India's best ranking till date has been 94, which they achieved in the year 1996. It has been quite a journey being down to the worst rank of 173 and breaking back in the top 100 foolballing countries. 

India's next game will be on June 7 when India host Lebanon in a friendly match. Next competitive match will be against Kyrgyz Republic 2019 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers to be played on 13 June where India play host.
