5 lessons Aizawl FC taught Indian Football

DREAMS ARE NOT FULFILLED OVERNIGHT and although Aizawl FC made history yesterday, it was not one goal or one match that has put them in the spotlight. It is years of efforts that has started to bear fruits, and its the fruits that has India and other countries talking about.
Aizawl came to be known when they won I-League 2nd divsion in 2014/15 and when reached the Federation Cup finals last year but that was not even when they started growing into stature.
The work had begun behind the scenes even before they came to the I-League. In this write-up we will explore how this team from Mizoram, before anyone noticed, had steadily ascended to the top rung of the ladder of success.
