Play-by-Play: Mohun Bagan beat Chennai City at home, but fall short of an I-League win

MOHUN BAGAN CAME BACK from behind to register a 2-1 win over Chennai City FC but did not win the I-League thanks to Aizawl securing a draw against Shillong Lajong.

A goal by Nandhakumar saw CCFC take a lead early in the game but towards the end of the first half Sony Norde equalized for the green and maroons. In the second half, Darryl Duffy scored to secure a win for Mohun Bagan but by that time Aizawl FC had drawn level after a Shillong Lajong lead, and it stayed that way till the end.
