Sindhu goes down fighting against Bingjiao in QF of BAC

PV SINDHU put up a good fight in her quarter-final match against Chinese He Bingjiao but the latter was just too good today at the Badminton Asia Championships.

The 8th seed Chinese won 15-21, 21-14, 24-22. As expected, this was a closely contested match and kept everyone on the edge of their seats.

Sindhu looked in great control after she won the opening game but when Bingjiao took the second and forced for a decider, anything could happen in the final game.

The fourth seed Indian showed good determination in the last game when the Chinese was leading 19-16, Sindhu fought back to make it 19-19 and then it went on till 22-22 when Bingjiao took the following two points to clinch the match and seal spot in the semi-finals.

The 2014 BAC Bronze medallist Sindhu failed to repeat the feat this time. With her exit, it ends India's campaign in the tournament.
