Indian MMA: BOOM MMA release statement on why they are not sanctioned by AIMMAF

BOOM MMA had earlier announced that their next event will be held on May 7 at the  Khudiram indoor stadium in Kolkata.

The event, however, will not be sanctioned by All India Mixed Martial Arts Federation (AIMMAF). BOOM MMA has given a statement regarding the issue and you can read it below.

BOOM MMA is the biggest MMA league in Eastern India. BOOM MMA 5 took place along with Fitexpo last year and It was verbally permitted to use AIMMAF logo in the last event about Sanctioning. 

From next event BOOM MMA events will not be sanctioned by AIMMAF. It was confirmed that Combat Sports Association - CSA will sanction all upcoming events of BOOM MMA. BOOM MMA officials already cleared their view about the Sanctioning and reason behind get sanctioned by CSA. 

One of the main reason is Change of Hands as CSA used to operate and run BOOM MMA directly but the beginning of this year, Taponomics Combat Championship  Pvt Limited (TCC Pvt Ltd) took over BOOM MMA.

Ratul Mukherjee who is the founder & president of BOOM MMA and also he was the president of CSA too but few days ago he lost in voting in his presidential run for CSA and handed over charge of CSA to Sourav Kundu, who has an wide array of experience in brand marketing and management. 

Sourav Kundu has stated that CSA and BOOM MMA is two different entity which operate separately by different people. BOOM MMA is working to become the leading promotion in India by promoting shows and give Indian fighters a platform to showcase their skill and CSA will work on the development of MMA from every aspect such as co-promotion, ground work development, government relations, various workshops and seminars, making relations with other countries to expand for the betterment of MMA and focus of CSA is to provide Development, Support to the every sect of MMA and CSA will work as an independent body too.

The officials from TCC pvt Ltd has stated that they are not looking for any kind of sanctioning from any organization as of now and instead of it CSA which is also a self monitoring, sanctioning and development body will take care of it. What ever fees CSA will generate that will be re invested into the development of the sports in Eastern India ( special focused in Kolkata).

Hence CSA is a 5 year old body and have its own members who are eager to learn Refereeing, Judging and other stuffs too. So, with this platform TCC Pvt Ltd has decided to work exclusively with CSA only in terms of BOOM IPFL and other mma related ventures run by TCC Pvt Ltd. They have also stated that TCC Pvt Ltd has no problem and have no intentions to compete with any other MMA promotions around India.

The controversy raised last week in TCC Pvt Ltd's Board meeting where they decided that being a long time ally of CSA they would love to work with CSA and not with another sanctioning body for a certain time period. Sourav Kundu & Aryan Singh the President & Secretary of CSA has stated that they are not going to work with any other promotions in India as of now and netiher they are interested to become a sanctioning body for other promotions too.

CSA will work independently with the tei ups with TCC Pvt. Ltd as expand the development, growth of MMA  and mma related ventures with TCC Pvt Ltd. According to internal sources CSA has become the captive sanctioning body for BOOM IPFL which is going to be the one of its kind promotion to organize one night 8 man elimination championship for a particular weight title. And for this there will be hardly any commission who will approve this norms so its better to have our own captive sanctioning body to promote the game rather than getting it disapproved from the others

President of BOOM MMA and Ex President of CSA Ratul mukherjee who is also the Joint Secretary of AIMMAF stated that he is very honored to work with AIMMAF and planning to set out a branch of AIMMAF in Kolkata so that the Development in Eastern Indian MMA will get more speed.

He also stated that to keep Eastern Indian MMA corruption and Chaos free he will not let AIMMAA to enter this part of india as AIMMAA is already too much controversial and openly corrupted because many fighters came out of AIMMAA to save their carrier and revealed inside stories of AIMMAA.
