Happy with the way I’m batting at the moment, says Rahane

RISING PUNE SUPERGIANT opener Ajinkya Rahane has expressed his pleasure with the contribution that he has been making with the willow in the 10th edition of IPL.

So far, Rahane has scored just one fifty and that too it had come in the opening game against Mumbai Indians at Pune. Subsequently, he scored two-30s and managed to get his overall score to 179-runs in seven games. However, as reported by PTI, the elegant batsman has stated that he is satisfied with his personal form.

“I am happy the way I am batting at the moment. It is important to spend time in the middle. Right now the way I am middling and timing the ball, I am really happy. As long as we are winning matches I am happy because that is important. Switching from Test to T20 format is about mental adjustment and I did that completely well.”

During RPS’ match at Wankhede, the Maharashtra-lad scored a crucial 38 that helped his side halt Mumbai Indians’ winning run. The Pune franchise are set to play Kolkata Knight Riders on April 26.
