IN THE THIRD match of the 10th edition of IPL, Kolkata Knight Riders openers Gautam Gambhir and Chris Lynn combined a magnificent effort to thrash Gujarat Lions in a crushing 10-wicket win at Rajkot.
The unbeaten 184-run partnership by the opening pair offered a lot of mind-boggling moments for the spectators. However, Trent Boult’s spectacular effort to save a maximum for his team while fielding in the deep attracted a loud applause too.
The incident took place on the second delivery of the 14th over of Gujarat’s innings when skipper Suresh Raina hit an advanced shot hard off Piyush Chawla in an attempt to send the ball out of the park.
