Will take the field only when I am 120 percent fit, says Kohli

INDIA SKIPPER Virat Kohli has made it clear that he will not risk himself by taking the field for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 10 before being declared fully fit by the medical team.

During an interview with former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar on the sidelines of RCB’s opening game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kohli stated,

"The priority is Indian cricket with the Champions Trophy coming up and I don't want to take any risks. I have not set any date and I will only return when I am 120 percent fit. Having said that I would like to return on field as soon as possible."

The Delhi-lad divulged that staying out of the final Test between India and Australia has alleviated the pain of witnessing games from the sidelines.

"I would say I have not got a bit used to it as I have already missed a Test match. But it is frustrating that you can't play because of injury on just one part of your body."

The 28-year-old is being kept out of the RCB’s IPL10 campaign due to a shoulder injury sustained during the third Test against Australia at Ranchi.
