Football Festival organised in Ahmedabad to promote FIFA U 17 World Cup

THE MISSION XI MILLION today announced that a one day event will be organised in order to reach out to more kids before the World Cup begins in October. 

This grand event will feature the likes of Praful Patel, President of All India Football Federation (AIFF) and Chairman of the LOC of FIFA Under 17 World Cup,  former national team captain and current Technical advisor in the AIFF, Bhaichung Bhutia and co-owners Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bacchan of ISL teams Pune City and Chennaiyin FC respectively. The renowned names is expected to attract good crowd at the stadium. 

Mission XI Million is a project that attempts to touch 11 million kids in India with football and encourage them to take up playing football. Recently, the mission recorded 1 million kids touched in the build up to the World Cup.
In the project, the latest announcement, a mega football festival is  organised at TransStadia, Ahmedabad on April 8, where schools from the city will participate in the event to showcase their talent.
