Indian MMA: Nelson Paes to fight Rolando Gabriel at Brave 5

Brave Combat Federation is rolling out a mouth-watering event for their inaugural event in India and one of the most notable fighters on the fight card is Goa’s own Nelson Paes.

Nelson, who is currently riding on an impressive winning streak will face the experienced Rolando Gabriel at the event. The 25-year-old Gabriel, is the son of Philippines Boxing Legend Rolando Navarette and currently holds an impressive record of 8-4 to his name.

Gabriel is also currently on a winning streak with three back to back victories.  The fight will be a crucial one for Nelson as he is making his return to the MMA circuit after a break. He has been an important figure in promoting the sport in Goa and has his own gym set up in the state as well.
