FIFA U-17 World Cup: Kolkata gets the final, Guwahati & Navi Mumbai to host the semis
FIFA U-17 WORLD CUP grand finale will take place at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata while the semis will be hosted by DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai and the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Guwahati.
The announcement was made today at the Salt Lake Stadium where a group of FIFA representatives inspected the stadium and approved it for hosting the prestigious global footballing event.
The respective groups will be playing their group-stage matches at the following venues, Group A- Navi Mumbai; Group B- Delhi; Group C- Goa; Group D- Kochi; Group E- Guwahati; Group F- Kolkata.
The tournament will be held from 6th to 28th October this year.
