UFC reportedly wants huge cut from the Potential Mayweather vs. McGregor fight

THE WHOLE COMBAT sports world is buzzing about the potential fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr. McGregor confirmed that negotiations were currently going on and vowed to stop Mayweather if the fight does happen.

McGregor, however, will not be able to fight Mayweather without the consent of UFC and according to Top Rank Promotions chief Bob Arum, UFC wants a huge cut from the purse of McGregor.

“ The only impediment there is the UFC because the UFC doesn’t treat fighters the same way that boxing promoters do – UFC fighters get so much less than boxers do. They proposed a deal to Conor that on his share of the purse, they take 50 per-cent. Gimme a break!” he mentioned in an interview.

Arum also claimed that if the deal does not go through, UFC would be one of the biggest reasons.
